Mission Statement
Urban Faith Mission is a faith based mission center dedicated to love, care and serve children, youth, and families in the inner-city of San Antonio, Texas. We are located on the Westside right in the heart of the Lincoln Height Courts, Alazan/Apache Courts, Marisol Homes, and Cassiano Homes. UFM provides solid weekly programs at our mission center to meet the needs of our community. We have an outstanding team that is committed to developing and creating quality programs and initiatives that support our fundamental cause: to reach young hearts and build a legacy of hope in this area.
About This Cause
Our Vision is to see generations living in urban conflict rise up and reach their fullest potential. Our Mission is to work in partnership with local churches and organizations to direct ministry efforts. We know that these areas are tough, and we know that there are no easy answers. However, we want to create programs that meet the needs of young urban people and ultimately restore their outlook on life to a point that they begin striving for a better future. Our programs consist of: After School Homework & Reading Help for Elementary Students; Mentoring for Middle School & High School Students; Kids Fun Night; Youth Fun Night; Food Pantry & Clothing Closet; Community Garden; Seasonal Community Outreaches; Summer Foundation Reading & Math Program; Youth Leadership Sessions; Team Service Projects.
