Mission Statement
Dallas Hope Charities' mission is provide food, shelter, and services that instill dignity, stability, and Hope for All.
About This Cause
Established in 2016, Dallas Hope Charities expanded from meal programs only, to a multi-program 501(c)3. We operate 1) Dallas’ only LGBTQ homeless youth shelter which currently serves as both an emergency and transitional living program, as well as 2) Collective Hope Coalition which is working to reduce the factors that lead to LGBTQ suicide in Dallas. 3) Hopeful Discussions Workshops geared toward educating and building a more inclusive community by increasing understanding on LGBTQ+ topics like pronouns, gender identities, and sexual identity.
