About This Cause
Serve Africa provides opportunities and critically needed services to empower orphans and underprivileged children. We partner with individuals and organizations that possess equal passion to alleviate poverty and impact positive change. Among several key areas of interventions, Serve Africa partners with Serve Liberia to provide free quality education to underprivileged children, mostly orphans. Serve Africa is also engaged into community development, which entails provision of clean drinking water (hand pumps) and public toilets. Additionally, Serve Africa builds safe homes for orphans and women, including schools, birthing centers, and sporting facilities. One of Serve Africa's signature programs is shipping a 40-ft shipping container of relief supplies to Liberia at least once a year. Over the past four years, Serve Africa has provided food, clothing, shoes, medical equipment, and and hundreds of essential supplies to rural communities. The items have benefited at least 25,000 families across three counties. Serve Africa seeks to reduce poverty by empowering families through agriculture, particularly cassava farming for short-term and oil palm plantation for long-term. The overall goal is to create jobs and food security for families who lack the means to provide for themselves.
