THE CLOSET provides FREE clothing to teens in need.
About This Cause
THE CLOSET offers one hour, private and confidential , appointments to teens in need. Teens are referred by local school counselors, juvenile corrections ( those kids visit about 30 days before their release), homeless shelters, mental health agencies, local agencies who see youth, and word of mouth. Since opening in 2010, THE CLOSET has supplied clothing to over 3,500 teens. The clothing, both new and gently used, are generously donated by individuals and area retailers. THE CLOSET has an amazing selection of clothing that teens really want to wear. Each appointment is private so our team has the opportunity to help each teen shop, and provide the individual attention and love that instantly boosts their self esteem.
