Mission Statement
The RVA Skins Youth Football and Cheering organization is now doing business as the VA State Renegades Sports Academy. The VA State Renegades is a nonprofit organization that offers Fall and Spring football and cheering programs for youth ages 5 to 14 years of age. The VA State Renegades strive to teach the youth in our community the fundamentals and proper techniques of football and cheering. Our emphasis is on developing our athlete’s physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership skills. The VA State Renegades will maintain a positive and safe environment for our youth and coaches. All youth will have an opportunity to participant in developing their individual skills and abilities while working as a team. Ultimately, our youth will be able to build lasting friendships and memories while having fun cheering and playing football. Our coaches are dedicated to promoting the core values of the VA State Renegades organization. They will focus on assisting our youth with developing life skills and individual character. Our coaches are expected to lead by example in both words and actions on and off the football field. They accept responsibility of the development of our athletes as both players and persons while under their direction. Our goal is to guide our athletes to become positive contributors to the community and to any team they choose to be a part of.
