Mission Statement
Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce feral cat populations in Hampton Roads by socializing outdoor-born kittens for adoption into forever homes.
About This Cause
Founded: May, 2013 by Becca Ostman 501c3 Non Profit status: Aug, 2016 President and CFO Emilie Jackson Highlights “Trapping Army” with 30+ trappers • “Foster Army” with 75+ families Volunteer-staffed public cattery at Pups n Stuff (4330 Holland Rd, VB) PetSmart Town Center Partnerships with several city and non-city Animal Control facilities to decrease their euthanization rate of displaced cats and kittens. What We Do • TNR: Trap, Neuter/Spay, Vaccinate, and Release feral cats • Rescue of feral kittens for domestic adoption • Feral colony and unwanted cat/kitten assistance A growing “Career Cat” program • Lost kitten and cat trapping/reuniting By the Numbers 2024: TNR’d 278 cats. Socialized and adopted out 947 cats & kittens.
