OAK LEAF EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Oak Leaf Educational Foundation, created as a non-profit corporation in 2016, is to provide higher education scholarship monies to qualified Wakonda Club employees. Applicants for the scholarship are judged based upon established criteria, including scholastic achievement, extra-curricular activities, community service, and work performance. Each applicant submits a written essay and presented for a personal interview with the Foundation’s scholarship committee. Seasonal employee applicants must be in their second season and in good standing with Wakonda in order to apply.
