Our mission is to partner with people to find worth and wellness. We are professionals and licensed counselors who recognize the need for a strategic, relational approach to the many challenges facing individuals.
About This Cause
The Oaks is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2017. We want each individual to know that they are priceless. We recognize the need for a strategic, relational approach to the many challenges facing individuals. We are here to join with people--no matter where they need to be begin--to offer hope, encouragement, and professional counsel. We are a partner in the journey. Because health is not one-dimensional, neither is our plan. The Oaks helps individuals create and sustain a lifestyle of healthy choices. OUR BRANCHES OF CARE The Oaks Center for Counseling & Wellness We provide high-quality licensed professional counseling by combining evidence-based practices with an approach that fosters worth and wellness for each individual. We offer counseling services for male and female clients ages 10+ through in-person, tele therapy, and walk and talk therapy options. Community Groups-Worth & Wellness Community The Oaks offers an inviting weekly community group for adult women and men (separate groups), teaching participants how to make wellness a part of everyday life. Every meeting offers a change to implement new knowledge into your daily routine. The small group atmosphere allows ladies to form meaningful relationships in a safe, welcoming environment. Wellness Consulting Services Using The Oaks Wellness Model as a framework, we work with clients to create a powerful, solution-focused personal wellness plan. Our process is engaging, unique, and effective! Through three initial sessions, client 1) determine areas of focus in regards to personal wellness, 2) learn about our wellness model and set goals, 3) create a plan, teaching knowledge and practical skills to move towards goals. Clients may then choose future support according to their needs. Mental Health & Wellness Education though Media & Speaking We customize opportunities for organizations, businesses, schools, sports teams, etc. Our services include: Wellness and mental health video education curriculum In-person workshops Staff development opportunities on mental health and wellness Oaks Residential The Oaks is working hard to open a therapeutic home (in-patient services) offering the highest quality of residential mental health care. The home will offer a safe, loving atmosphere to women working toward wellness. Women will receive health-giving treatment through licensed professional counseling. Christian discipleship, and life skills training. This community is a long-term goal for The Oaks and is not currently operational. We hope to provide this community in the not-so-distant future.
