About This Cause

South India Christian Mission (SICM) is a 501-c-3 non-profit organization with overseeing board in the USA and operates via a non-profit trust in India, under government FCRA regulations and with in-country administrative trustees there. South India Christian Mission has the benefit of guidance and oversight by seasoned Christian leaders in both the USA and in India. The board in the USA is an advisory entity of volunteers, whose main function is to advise, prioritize needs, set goals, and help provide funds. Managing trustees in India are national preachers and church leaders who provide regional inputs on goals, needs, and priorities and work with the leadership team to prioritize those needs at the top level for optimizing impact for the Kingdom. This formula with volunteer oversight and encouragement by Christian leaders in the USA has resulted in a very productive program of evangelism, preacher training, church planting, meeting social needs (medical, orphans, children, widows, disaster relief) - and all with almost 100% of the gifts going directly to the field in India and Sri Lanka. Key ministry areas for South India Christian Mission include: evangelism, preacher training, church planting, meeting social needs (medical, orphans, children, widows, disaster relief).
