Mission Statement
Gold Star Parents Retreat provides a unique three-day retreat to the parents of fallen soldiers by openly honoring their sons and daughters through specially designed sessions and activities.
About This Cause
Gold Star Parents Retreat is a unique retreat created for Gold Star Parents by Gold Star parents. We offer an all-inclusive three-day weekend retreat to the parents of any fallen soldier from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We give our Gold Star parents an opportunity to openly share their story with others that have suffered the loss of a son or daughter in service to our country. Gold Star Parents Retreat focuses on the parents of fallen soldiers that have sought traditional forms of therapy but did not find the kind of help or connection that other Gold Star parents can provide. We welcome the parents of any soldier regardless of cause of death or branch of service. We offer hands-on activities and non-traditional therapy sessions instead of lectures or workshops.
