Mission Statement
The mission of Zoie's Place is to better the lives of youth and young adults who have experienced foster care.
About This Cause
Zoie's Place is a nonprofit organization that provides transitional services to young adults aging out of foster care. We have a transitional home in Denton, Texas that serves young women, ages 18 to 26 who have emancipated from foster care. While in our program, residents must work and go to school. Residents participate in Life Skills training and receive mentorship during the duration of their time at Zoie's Place. Zoie's Place also provides support to young adults in the community who have aged out of foster care who do not reside at our transitional home. We do this by providing backpacks and school for new students at local colleges and universities. Our mentorship services are also available to young adults who have aged out of foster care. In addition, we teach a variety of life skills classes to young adults who have aged out of foster care. To learn more about our programs, please visit our website.
