With over 115,000 catalogued bikes and over 370 partners in law enforcement, bike organizations, pawn shops and retail bike shops - the Bike Index database powers thousands of daily searches. With free, web-based tools designed to offer efficient registration, recovery, and anti-theft services, Bike Index has proven more effective than any service of its kind, aiding in over 3,600 confirmed recoveries to date, and daily stolen bike recoveries and near-constant recoveries.

The Bike Index is bike registration that works! The Bike Index makes stolen bikes easier to identify - and harder to sell - by making this data available to law enforcement, bike shops, cycling organizations and consumers. Our advanced technology lets a bike's serial be checked in a matter of seconds, via a cellphone, the web, or even Twitter. We also have an advanced API that lets partners register bikes and interact with our data.
