We support the Ray of Hope Family Home and Skills Center, Preschool and Primary School and provide food and water resources for needy people in Uganda.
About This Cause
Ray of Hope, Inc is a Christian based non-profit corporation dedicated to supporting the education and training of orphans in Jinja Uganda. Toward that goal we have built the Ray of Hope Family Home in Jinja that supports the education and development of 30 orphan children. To provide better financial support this work, we have begun building and are seeking support for the Ray of Hope Skills Center and Preschool and Primary School. This project will cost between $60,000 this year. Last year we raised $100,000 and completed four classrooms and a wonderful sports court and play yard. Due to the poor economy and lack of development, we support food distribution in times of community drought or illness and construction of wells to provide clean water to local communities in Uganda.
