Mission Statement
United Recovery Fund (formerly Maine Recovery Fund) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2017 to provide support, dignity, and purpose through sustainable employment to people affected by substance use disorder and incarceration, resulting in financial independence and economic viability.
About This Cause
United Recovery Fund partners with the B-Corp social staffing company, MaineWorks, to support our clients in their re-entry into the workforce following treatment for substance use disorder and/or incarceration. MaineWorks provides the jobs, while URF provides the support our clients need to show up comfortably and confidently at work each day.
