Mission Statement

Every girl is welcome at the Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming. Our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Girl Scouts achieves this mission through our nationally accredited educational programs that develop girls' leadership and real-world skills such as STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), financial literacy, anti-bullying tactics, travel and outdoor programming.

About This Cause

STEM educational events/activities that include LEGO robotics teams have earned high-honors in state and national competitions. Outdoor programs include summer resident to day-camps. Among the girls' most popular activities are Girl Scouts' outdoor skill-building, geocaching, rock-climbing, mountain biking, skiing, swimming, horseback riding, astronomy, robotics' and archery. Local field-trips to international travel adventures, environmental programs, corporate social responsibility or community service to career exploration and financial literacy skill-building are only the beginning of the vast array of programs offered.
