About This Cause
The Community Council of Idaho (CC Idaho) is the largest nonprofit organization serving Latinos in Idaho. Our mission is to strengthen families in our communities by offering opportunities in education, housing, health, employment, and legal services. CC Idaho was originally founded as Idaho Migrant Council in 1971 to provide a voice and services for underserved and underprivileged farmworkers in the state. We changed our name in 2006 and have expanded our mission to serve low-income, immigrants, and at-risk youth and families more broadly in Idaho. CC Idaho works with local schools, farmers, public agencies, nonprofits, sister organizations, community partners, businesses, donors, volunteers, and health organizations to strengthen families and communities for a stronger society.
