Mission Statement
The mission of Kindred Mutual Foundation is to create, find and support programs in healthcare, education and community development that directly improve the lives and economic well-being for low-income and underserved communities in the US and in developing countries.
About This Cause
We are a Washington State nonprofit corporation engaged in charitable activities and public education as a tax-exempt organization within the prescribed meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Kindred Mutual Foundation was founded with the belief that changing the life of a person facing the extra challenges of poverty, can change a family, a community and ultimately a nation. Our programs are designed to facilitate learning, problem-solving, skills development and provides opportunities for mentoring, internships and employment, especially for young people in the affected communities. We research and study unique solutions applicable to each community to solve specific socio-economic problems. Our overseas healthcare initiatives include our adopt-a-clinic program through which we assist rural health centers with resources and training necessary to preserve and improve existing healthcare infrastructure and services delivery. We organize periodic medical mission trips centered around those care centers, whereby our US volunteer medical professionals interface, work and train with their local counterparts in a manner that provides quality healthcare in the interim and continuity of care for the community.
