About This Cause
WAWOS is committed to supporting and celebrating children with Cerebral Palsy and related developmental disabilities through the application of design and technology. Through financial, clinical and social support for impacted children and their families, our organization strives to enable participation of all people, regardless of ability, in the community at large. Together we can change the conversation around disability, break down barriers, and promote inclusion. This 501(c)(3) organization is rooted in the personal experience of its founder, Jacquie Robison, whose daughter was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at just over a year old. Together with her family and friends, she has found new ways to encourage her daughter’s development, navigate stereotypes and celebrate successes.
