Mission Statement

Augusta College Echo Hall Association voluntarily undertakes and supports charitable efforts to preserve, rehabilitate and operate Echo Hall, an original dormitory of the Augusta College, one of the first Methodist colleges in the world.

About This Cause

The Association will acquire the Echo Hall building, built in 1830, in order to prevent demolition of a unique building intrinsic to the historic identity of the City of Augusta and its residents. Other projects and activities include securing the building against further deterioration, renovating the facility for public and community use and utilizing the facility for education, charitable and community purposes. The Association also may conduct programs and activities to enhance community awareness of the history of the Augusta College and the City of Augusta and contribute to the community being a prime example of Kentucky’s finest cultural heritage
