Mission Statement
YEA is a student-run non-profit aiming to benefit community and society while foster members’ sense of social responsibility and leadership. YEA focuses on promoting STEM education awareness among under-represented groups, including but not limited to female or Latino students, Improve community growth and education opportunity of disadvantaged students.
About This Cause
Youth EUCLID Association (YEA) is the leading K-12 educational community of its type, promoting lifestyle initiative, academic devotion, deep thinking, teamwork, and leadership; and aside from an advisory board, we are governed completely by a select student body. We value concentrated discussions between students, engaging minds by problem-solving and creative thinking, for through this we communicate advanced concepts and abstract ideas frequently not demonstrated in school. By hosting special events, we aim towards showing youth which lifestyle practices will help them manage tasks larger than themselves and work in unity with colleagues. Furthermore, we deem it of equal importance to provide for students of lesser privilege or opportunity this same academic chance; to that end, we promote a special all-around curriculum and commit to help wherever achievable. We also sponsor and organize a multitude of means to donate to other disadvantaged students. Not only do we value impartial tutelage, lending a hand to those under any sort of difficulty, but we also wish that our youth become more aware that they can contribute towards society by giving the gift of education.
