Mission Statement
The Gray Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an organization whose purpose is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of William Gray Elementary, located at 3730 N. Laramie St., Chicago, IL 60641 . Its goals are to promote the academic, physical, social, and personal well-being of the Gray youth while developing a closer relationship between home, school, and community and to provide resources for the school in addition to those provided within the school budget.
About This Cause
The Gray Elementary PTO aims to host annual fundraising events to help provide financial assistance to teachers in their classroom settings, hold fundraisers for supplemental educational materials and experiences, and support school and family social interactions. The PTO shall strictly perform charitable work as desirable and proper within the limitations of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as amended, and related provisions thereof.
