Mission Statement
Sanatana Yaksha Ranga Cultural Center (SYRCC), located in San Jose, CA, is an organization promoting cross cultural understanding across ethnic groups by providing a platform for sharing culture and art via performances of various genre of dance, music and art. SYRCC plans to promote various performing arts exchanges with events, performances and competitions in music, creative arts and dance.
About This Cause
Sanatana Yaksha Ranga Cultural Center (SYRCC) is incorporated with a simple goal: - Promote understanding across various ethnic cultures by providing a platform to stage performances of music, art and dance. - Enable preservation of heritage and promote culture by enabling performances and research in various dance forms, music genre and art forms. - Bridge generation gap across various age groups by promoting interaction between these age groups mediated by music, arts and/or dance. - Enable a healthy interest for tradition, heritage and culture amongst the youth of America by providing a platform to share arts, music and dance from all over the world (including dying art forms in various countries across the world). - Sanatana in our name signifies Universal. - Yaksha Ranga in our name signifies performance art Thus, we strive to be Universal Performance Art Cultural Center in San Jose, CA.
