Mission Statement
Founded in 1988, CBE International (Christians for Biblical Equality) works to eliminate the power imbalance between women and men resulting from theological patriarchy. CBE exists to promote the biblical message that God calls women and men of all cultures, races, and classes to share authority equally in service and leadership in the home, church, and world. CBE collaborates with global pastors, churches, institutions, and NGOs to eliminate sexism, racism, misogyny, gender-based violence, and human trafficking; to raise the status of women; and to promote human flourishing. We educate and advocate through conferences, publications, blog, social media, and ministry partnerships.
About This Cause
CBE International (Christians for Biblical Equality) advances the gospel by equipping Christians to use their God-given talents in leadership and service regardless of gender, ethnicity, or class. CBE, a 501c3 nonprofit, is supported by a community that believes the Bible, properly interpreted, calls women and men to lead and serve as equals, based on Scriptures such as Galatians 3:28.
