About This Cause
The Rest Stop was organized to provide a place for the homeless to wash their clothes, shower and get out of the heat. We will offer hygiene items as well as water. The Rest Stop will be a day resource center for those in need to stop in. Casa Grande does not have a place offering these services to support those living on the streets. The Rest Stop is a street ministry that started out with passing out bottled water and hygiene bags. In 2020 we were able to purchase a shower trailer with funds from a grant we received. We now are able to offer showers every week. We are still pursuing our goal of locating a building.
