Mission Statement
Our mission is to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome animals from high-kill shelters and the community and teach Responsibility to the pet owning population. We host low cost spay/neuter clinics for pets in our community to enrich the pet population and to keep them out of shelters.
About This Cause
Atascosa Animal Allies Inc is a small group of unpaid volunteers in Atascosa County (just south of Bexar County) who : • Rescue animals in danger of being euthanized in local shelters or rescue animals roaming city and county roads in danger of starvation. • Provide necessary veterinary care, vaccinations and spay/neuter. • Rehabilitate these animals while fostering them short or long-term. • Find good permanent homes that we can place them in. • Educate the public on how to be responsible pet owners.
