Mission Statement
Bike San Antonio serves as a unified and inclusive voice for cyclists. We strategically advocate for safer bike infrastructure, education, and awareness both politically and in our communities.
About This Cause
BikeSA has surveyed the cyclist population and found they most desire more protected bikeways, clean bikeways, more cyclist/driver education and more bike parking. Unfortunately, last year the city cut funding for bike projects in half. BikeSA needs funds to create a fully functional non-profit to pressure the city to fund these sorely needed projects.. We will collaborate with various similar non-profits as we have done in the past, and continue to meet with city officials including city council members and transportation planners.
