About This Cause
Seattle Luminous Wisdom ("SLW") is a local group introducing the Dharma teaching from Khenpo Tsultrim Lodrö. SLW facilitates the study and practice of Buddhism, liaisons with Khenpo's global office, and introduces dharma activities into greater Seattle Metro region. We encourage lay people to join our peer group Buddhism teaching courses and engage in Zen meditation practice. Through SLW's program you will learn the how to relieve stress and negative emotions from daily life. SLW started in 2015 under the direction of Khenpo Tsultrim Lodrö and offers free Mahayana courses (in Chinese) for those who are interested. English courses are also being prepared. In 2016 and 2017, Khenpo visited Seattle to continue his Dharma teaching. SLW increased from 6 people to over one hundred followers during this period. In order to develop our Dharma teaching and benefit more people in the Greater Seattle area, we registered an NGO at the end of 2017. SLW hosts events, studies and other activities related to Mahayana Buddhism. Currently we have two practice locations located in Bellevue. The headquarters is in Bellevue as well.
