Mission Statement
Move a Mountain Missions is a Catholic non-profit that aims to help youth and young adults from the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh grow deeper in their call to service with raising funds and supporting the mostvulnerableat home in Pittsburgh, and abroad in Jamaica.
About This Cause
Born out of a love for serving the most vulnerable, Move a Mountain Missions (MMM) began in 2016 with a mission to help the most vulnerable in our own neighbor hood, as well as Jamaica. Our mission has opened doors to those who are normally overlooked or cast aside. In 2020, we took on a vision that has become a small institution in the city of Pittsburgh. Brother Andres Café officially opened it's doors in October of 2020, employing 6 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As an outreach of Move a Mountain Missions, Brother Andre’s Café provides employment for adults living with developmental and intellectual disabilities, serves gourmet coffee and cookies, and provides a space for community and Christian fellowship.
