Mission Statement
We are a foundation 501 c (3)that seeks to improve the quality of life of animals in the condition of the street, through the implementation of comprehensive programs of population control, nutrition, adoption and social responsibility -Vaccination and sterilization campaigns with medical help to those in most critical conditions.Offer solutions that help to combat the problem of population and mistreatment of animals, treating them as a problem of public health and coexistence, promoting the adoption of animals rescued and recovered from abandonment, systematically carrying out mass sterilization campaigns in dogs, such as the only method statistically proven, being at the same time efficient, ethical and free of cruelty, to face the high street population.
About This Cause
Fundación Perros Sin Nombre is a registered nonprofit organization based in Tela, Honduras, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting homeless animals—especially dogs and cats—from neglect, abuse, and abandonment. Since 2018, we’ve provided medical care, vaccinations, sterilizations, and loving temporary shelter to hundreds of animals, while promoting responsible pet ownership through free spay/neuter and deworming clinics for low-income families. Our mission goes beyond rescue. We are building a permanent, rural recovery center designed to offer dignity and quality of life for animals in need—prioritizing health, well-being, and ethical treatment over overcrowding. Our vision is a society that respects and cares for street animals through education, prevention, and community collaboration. Together, we are giving *the nameless* a second chance. --
