The mission of American Friends of Assuta Ashdod Hospital (AFAAH) is to support Samson Assuta Ashdod Hospital as it provides, promotes and protects world class Israeli healthcare.
About This Cause
The charitable purposes of AFAAH include: •Maintain and expand the state-of-the-art Samson Assuta Ashdod Hospital to ensure residents of this medically under-served region in Israel's periphery have immediate access to a full range of services and receive the highest quality of healthcare; •Support Samson Assuta Ashdod Hospital to further scientific and medical innovation, enhancing Israel’s security preparedness and modeling healthcare that integrates the community with the hospital. •Enhance the quality of healthcare as a medical training center affiliated with the Medical School of Ben Gurion University of the Negev; and •Develop medical information and professional exchange programs in the U.S. presenting best practices of healthcare in Israel.
