City of Refuge Baltimore exists to bring light, hope, and transformation to individuals, families, and communities.
About This Cause
City of Refuge Baltimore (CORB) operates through 5 impact areas: Health & Wellness (food pantry, prepared lunches, diaper pantry, distribution of household items, etc.), Supportive Housing (currently have 10 beds that we can offer people in need, and several partners we can refer residents to for help in relocation, assistance with rent/other expenses), Workforce Development (both hard and soft skills classes, including trades such as plumbing, IT, and construction), Youth Empowerment (after-school programs), and Anti-Human Trafficking (Women's drop-in center). The main goal of CORB is to build relationships with Baltimore residents and help address every level of crisis. The CORB team wants to truly know the people we are serving so that we can properly support them and offer the necessary resources. The residents are the heroes of their own stories, CORB is just offering assistance and support as we walk with them on their journey to self-sufficiency.
