Mission Statement
Counselors for Change seeks to increase mental health awareness, education, outreach and advocacy through initiatives that increase access to accurate mental health information and resources empowering individuals and communities with the support needed to actualize their full potential.
About This Cause
Counselors for Change is a collaborative high-impact coalition of passionate mental health professionals, educators, students, parents, community members, and partnering agencies dedicated to improving the mental health of communities through awareness initiatives, education, advocacy and outreach. We define a counselor as one who advocates for the well-being of another and value the diversity of backgrounds, expertise, and experiences our board members and volunteers bring to the table.
