Mission Statement
Charlie's Champs is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing children with disabilities opportunities for joy, companionship, and physical fitness by giving them access to adaptive, recreational equipment and activities.
About This Cause
Founded in St. Petersburg, FL, in 2018, Charlie's Champs was created in honor of Charlie Benson who was born still due to several medical complications at the end of 2016. Charlie's Champs now provides other kids with special needs with access to adaptive and recreational activities. The group's main mission is to provide local kids with disabilities with custom adaptive bikes that are made with special consideration to the needs of the specific child. They also strive to create a community of families, friends, and children who are enthusiastic about participating in inclusive, recreational activities.
