Mission Statement
To teach Japanese culture through the Olympic sport of Judo.
About This Cause
In 1968, ten young ambitious judo instructors, simply followed their passion to establish Budokan Dojo. Budokan Dojo has been recognized by Japanese government for maintaining a bridge to Japanese culture by teaching the Olympic Sport of Judo. The all volunteer instructor corps have dedicated their time and energy successfully developing local, regional, national judo champions, and Olympians that have gone off to represent the United States. Budokan Dojo is a not-for-profit organization that has committed over a half of decade serving the greater Seattle area community by giving all interested children and adults access to learning judo.
