About This Cause
The NATAS Southeast Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preparing the next generation of TV professionals and content creators to better serve their communities. We are driven by a single goal: to make the world a better place for the next generation. Our organization hosts free, educational training seminars for students, journalists and digital media producers. We present scholarships each years to college students. The NATAS Southeast Foundation also highlights achievement within high school and college media programs through our Student Production Awards. This event connect students with mentors within the industry. We serve a five-state area across the Southeast. Through a partnership with our sister organization, NATAS Southeast, our foundation gives students the opportunity to take part in the annual Southeast EMMY® Awards. This event has been presented in Atlanta annually since 1974. Aspiring to produce “EMMY® Award winning” coverage helps elevate the quality of work at television stations across the South and connects media professionals in our region with our network of 16,000 national members.
