About This Cause
Equine Kung Fu Wellness Center has assisted riders with many previously diagnosed physical, cognitive, and emotional issues such as: cerebral palsy, closed head injury, development delays, Down syndrome, emotional disorders, hearing impairment, mental retardation, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's and stroke and vision impairment. The relationship between the riders, riding instructor, the volunteer team and the special therapy horse is the catalyst for miracles in our client's lives. Kung Fu is another skill offered to help our clients develop self-esteem, physical and mental development , self discipline, respect for the community and the animals.
