Mission Statement
Friends of Duvdevan is a non-profit organization (501c3) whose mission is to financially support the Duvdevan Foundation in Israel. The foundation assists highly skilled individuals from the Duvdevan unit in their transition back to civilian life and helps them realize their full potential. By providing resources and opportunities, the foundation focuses its support on four main categories - education and scholarship, mentorship, resilience and post-trauma programs, care for combat-wounded soldiers, and facilitating successful integration into civilian life.
About This Cause
The goal of the Friends of Duvdevan is to support the Duvdevan Foundation the mainstay of past, present, and future Duvdevan Unit soldiers and supports them in several different areas. We work on providing access to education, empowerment, leadership workshops, coaching, mentoring programs, as well as organized events dedicated to strengthening our Heritage. The Duvdevan Foundation is the only Foundation that represents graduates of the Duvdevan Undercover Unit of the IDF. The Netflix TV hit show Fauda is based upon the work of this Elite Unit. The Foundation involves 150 alumni volunteering in various departments and with our associates embedded in the Israeli society, as well as two full-time employees.
