About This Cause
As a registered 501(c)3 non-profit independent of the Shu Ren International School in Berkeley, CA, the Foundation has three main objectives: Supplement the School's financial aid via Foundation scholarships to families who may not otherwise be able to enroll their child in an engaging, inquiry-based, multilingual curriculum; Provide grants to teachers at the School to advance their professional development; and Promote Mandarin-immersion education and build awareness for the School within the SF Bay Area via community outreach events such as parents' workshops and outings.
