Mission Statement
We empower people with purpose. Our approach: - We help changemakers, social entrepreneurs, and impact supporters do well while doing good by providing them with mentorship, sponsorship, meaningful content, thought-provoking talks, hands-on learning opportunities, and vibrant community conversations. - We actively listen to and advocate for the people we aim to serve; and intentionally design inclusive and equitable environments that allow them to easily plug in, access support, and meaningfully connect with one another. - We work to deepen and strengthen relationships among diverse stakeholders in our broader community, in order to build an innovation ecosystem where people collaborate across organizations, cultures, identities, geographies, and generations.
About This Cause
Impact Hub Houston is a locally rooted, globally connected 501c3 nonprofit organization that inspires, connects and empowers people working to solve some of the most pressing issues in our region and around the world...especially those that impact historically disadvantaged communities. A member of the Impact Hub global network—the world’s largest community recognized by the United Nations for accelerating entrepreneurial solutions towards measurable and scalable impact for the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—Impact Hub Houston intentionally designs places, platforms and programs to build an inclusive innovation ecosystem and equitably empower diverse changemakers, social entrepreneurs, and impact supporters to create the change they wish to see in the world.
