Mission Statement
The mission of Lauren H Collins Wellness is to assist survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence in underserved communities in their healing journey by providing them with access to free, culturally relevant, healing resources via one-on-one physical therapy assessments and treatments, and community based complementary healing services.
About This Cause
Lauren H Collins Wellness is a 501(c)(3), non-profit that provides free physical therapy interventions and other complementary healing resources to survivors of sexual assault, domestic and other forms of interpersonal violence in underserved communities through a culturally relevant lens. Lauren H Collins Wellness is based in Ward 7 of Washington, DC. We provide these services in home office and community in the Washington, DC metro region, as well as in weekend clinics in various cities nationally, in partnership with other advocacy organizations in those cities. Other complementary healing resources are inclusive of free yoga classes, Reiki treatments, sound baths and 5 NP auricular acupuncture, to name some of the other healing modalities offered.
