Mission Statement
Our mission is simple: to love, care, nourish and guide the orphaned and vulnerable children as an extension of our own families. To spread joy to their lives by ensuring the basic needs and essentials are provided while teaching how to create sustainable projects within the various regions we work. Every child deserves to be loved and cared for. We build structures that are cocoons of healing and of igniting the human potential in each and every child. Every soul matters to us. We work specifically in remote, rural regions with very little support from government agencies. We fill the gaps for children in need.
About This Cause
We are a global community of game changers knowing that to transform this world, we start with children. We work specifically with the most fragile demographic globally: the orphaned and vulnerable children. We work in South Africa where HIV/AIDS and Covid-19 have decimated the region, leaving millions of children orphaned. We create accountability and leadership programs prior to our commitment to work in their village. We develop leadership programs within their community to establish longevity and sustainability of our projects and programs. We provide essential assistance immediately: *Clean Water through borehole *Clean Sanitation *Sustainable Farming *Food Supply *Enrichment - English, computers, skills training, college prep Then, we build a Dream Center, which is a safe space for the orphaned and vulnerable to gather. The caregivers nourish the children at the center, through providing a daily meal, homework assistance, HIV medications as an extension of the clinic, play, learning and a family environment. In the Amazon jungle, there is not the orphaned situation as in Africa, however the children live in desperate, multi-dimensional poverty, which means that lack in everything. Moms House is committed to working in the Amazon jungle to provide: *Clean Water *Sustainable farming *Food Supply *Enrichment through education (English, job skills, technology) *Other emergency needs Moms House has developed a lunch program for the children. The poverty is so serious here, there is real hunger, like in Africa. We will work to continue a lunch program for the children and working with the communities in permaculture and sustainable farming to eradicate hunger. We provide great hope for the people along the river when they often feel hopeless, as the government does little to assist these communities. We are now moving into Mozambique - on some scales, rated as the 2nd poorest country in the world, where food is scarce, clean water is not available, 75% unemployment rates and education at a staggering, countrywide level of 3rd grade. Much help is needed here!
