Mission Statement

The Rise of Broken Women is dedicated to helping women and their families extricate themselves from the cycle of poverty.

About This Cause

The Rise Of Broken Women (RBW) is a multicultural 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides homeless women with the necessities of daily life such as feminine hygiene products while empowering them through training in relevant industries that allows women to regain control of the narratives of their lives. This organization is comprised of a team of women who work daily to rebuild the quality of life for homeless women by re-instilling a culture of self-confidence that spreads and cultivates each person a new narrative which is a vision of life preferred and how to acquire it. Charlee Newman, the founder of this organization, is not just the figurehead but a sound resource to be tapped into for homeless women and families. Charlee understands this well. She has first-hand experience having lived in a homeless shelter and comprehends well these specific needs. People who do not have access to feminine hygiene products often turn to unhygienic alternatives like socks, paper bags, or even cardboard. What began as a mission to empower women and girls expanded into an organization created to provide all the tools and supplies necessary to survive the broken worlds of the homeless experience and rise to a higher place where the broken women are repaired and armed with a new narrative and an experience all their own.
