Mission Statement
Set up a computer center for underprivileged high school students in Chennai, India which would help them sharpen their technical skills and spoken English. The goal is to focus on a dozen high school students in grades 9 through 12. To achieve this, we have partnered with Mr. Williams Abraham, a social worker with an education/technical background who works among the inner city high school students in Chennai.
About This Cause
We believe that everyone has a right to receive an education. In a world that is increasingly dependent on the internet, we believe reliable access to a computer is a key part of that education. Job opportunities are plenty in an industrialized city like Chennai, India where the tech industry is booming. We want to make sure high school students from poorer families in Ambattur, Chennai have access to the opportunities that are available to their peers from more privileged families. Ultimately, our goal is to give inner-city students in Ambattur an opportunity to seek out the careers of their dreams.
