About This Cause
Sage Experience uses a transformational curriculum to nurture young people from all walks of life to grow as leaders through real-world experiences. Sage supports students with coaches, advisors, and subject experts who guide them through launching initiatives that impact entire communities. Our students collaborate on teams of young people from our host communities and from around the world to make deep and sustainable transformation. Since our founding in 2019, our Sage young leaders have launched dozens of projects benefiting some of the least privileged communities. Empowered with the Sage skills they developed, our students have improved menstrual health and hygiene for families in rural West Africa; enabled more resilient and sustainable energy in spaces hit by irregular electricity; strengthened road safety for rural families; inspired students from less-resourced areas through hands-on workshops and activities on design, engineering, astronomy, sustainability, and more; launched weather stations and climate-education initiatives to improve the livelihoods of farmers at the bottom of the pyramid; trained women entrepreneurs and enabled them to launch new businesses; and so much more. The Sage curriculum, developed with experts at leading global universities, reimagines what education should look like to meet today's challenges.
