Mission Statement
Support the Katy Texas ISD FFA programs to ensure all animal raisers have buyers for their animal projects.
About This Cause
In 2017, the Katy ISD Livestock Show had hundreds of unsold animals, which meant those FFA students would only receive market price for their animal versus Barn Sale prices. To prevent this in the future, a group fo Taylor High School parents formed the Blue Posse Buyers Group to teach FFA students how to secure a buyer for their animal and to ensure all Taylor High School FFA student animal projects had buyers. After their success in 2018 and 2019, this group of parents created a 501c3 to assist all Katy ISD FFA students
