Mission Statement
Highland Clubhouse is building a safe, accessible community space for youth and families in the North End of Niagara Falls. We offer programs and services targeted to help alleviate poverty with a holistic, multi-generational approach.
About This Cause
We are building a community center in a long-neglected neighborhood. The Clubhouse takes a case management approach to the full family, to help address the many causes and symptoms of poverty, including social determinants of health such as housing, employment, food access, and childcare. Our Food Business Incubator program is helping entrepreneurs to open legitimate businesses and promote economic opportunity in a disinvested neighborhood. Youth programs include Wish Mentoring, yoga teacher training, summer employment opportunities, Camp Citizen, the Amazing Shake, STEM workshops, and more.
