About This Cause
The SHARE Center provides free medical care, educational support, and material assistance to men, women, and teens experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. It is our hope that with our support and services, women don't have to feel like abortion in their only option. Our services include pregnancy testing, first trimester ultrasounds, prenatal vitamins, physician referrals, and sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment. Educational support is provided through our Earn While You Learn program involving weekly prenatal and parenting classes. This early intervention resource, not only provides the opportunity for improved prenatal health and parenting skills, it also provides clients the opportunity to earn material assistance including infant clothing, supplies, equipment, and furnishings through our boutique. Clients also receive information and referrals for additional resources, including housing, employment, education, and counseling to help stabilize the family. In addition, the SHARE Center provides community education to teens and parents regarding fetal development and sexual health, in an effort to help prevent unplanned pregnancies.
