Mission Statement
Our mission is to accelerate genetic treatments for children with severe genetic diseases.
About This Cause
Millions of children in the U.S. have one-off genetic mutations that affect neurological function causing severe mental and physical disabilities. There are genetic technologies that are extremely effective at silencing these mutations at the source, but this requires rapid customization of individual treatments. Pharma is currently not set up to make money from individual treatments even though the science behind these could be relatively simple and reproducible. Lydian Accelerator's mission is to help accelerate research for these N-of-1 treatments.
