About This Cause
Young Life exists to support teenagers of middle and high school age in developing friendships and learning good values. We also offer after school tutoring, mentoring, urban, club meetings, fun activities, camping experiences, ski trips and other wholesome situations where they can grow into responsible adults without discrimination of any kind. Young Life is a Christian organization, but we do not require that of the kids we help. Within Young Life, we have a program called Wyldlife that mentors middle school age children. This program gives them opportunities to experience camping experiences and club activities. We also raise funds for natural disaster relief and have contributed to the victims of hurricanes and other occurrences, such as earthquake, flooding, fire and tsunami disasters around the world. Young Life is a tax-exempt public charity as described in 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code that exists exclusively for public purposes. No direct, tangible benefit will accrue to the donor, any member of his/her family, or to any direct third party as a result of this gift and that it will be used to support the primary objective of Young Life. Furthermore, this organization does not discriminate against any person or group on the basis of age, political affiliation, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or religious belief for program.
