The mission of Catholic Charities of Southern Colorado, an organization with a long tradition of strengthening families and individuals, is to empower people to live whole and healthy lives to reach their fullest potential by providing them with pathways to build skills, knowledge, and opportunities.
About This Cause
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Pueblo, now known as Catholic Charities of Southern Colorado (CCSoCo), has served families in Pueblo County for 80 years. CCSoCo’s programs stabilize individuals and families in crisis, strengthen families through case management and education, especially around early childhood development, and open new opportunities for economic mobility. Regardless of whether staff members help a grandparent navigate kinship resources to strengthen their family or promote the health and well-being of babies and toddlers coming through local medical clinics, we strive to ensure that children and their families have everything needed not just to survive but also to thrive. This is part of our larger vision as an agency of moving everyone we serve ever closer to reaching their full potential.
